What is Daily Endeavor?

Daily Endeavor is a guide to jobs that's written by real people. People just like you. It's a way to explore the kinds of jobs that exist. It's a way to learn from people who are into what you're into. It's a way to share your expertise. For the first time, it's a really simple way to start the first step in your job search -- it's a way to figure out what you might want to do next. Most of all, it's a way we can all help each other out.

Is Daily Endeavor free?

Yep. Free to read, free to write, free to vote. All of it.

Who writes about the jobs?

Anyone can write about a job at any time if they have relevant information that will improve the job profile. Daily Endeavor is based on the idea that there is a tremendous amount of expertise about every job out there, but until now it's been very hard to share. The guide continually improves as each new perspective and definition is added to it.

Do you have the job I'm looking for?

Our initial coverage includes 15,000 types of jobs in law, education, microfinance and human rights, with a lot more on the way. If we don't have it now, we hope to very soon.

I have a specific job in mind that I want to learn more about, can I request a job profile to be written?

Absolutely. If you find a type of job on the site that's not yet written about, click Request to show people there's interest in it. When you raise your hand, you encourage others to come along and share what they know.

How can I contribute my expertise to the guide?

There are three ways to contribute. First, you can write a review -- which can be as simple as defining a job in three sentences or less.

Second, you can vote on reviews. If someone's written a section that's particularly helpful, let 'em know. This helps make the good stuff easier to find for everyone and it's a way of saying thanks to person who took the time to write.

Lastly, let us know how you'd like to see the guide grow. We're just getting started, so we don't have coverage in every area yet. If there's a topic area, type of job, feature, or something else you'd like to see, by all means send us a note.
