Not ideal if you highly value lifestyle (e.g, no work on week ends, long term planning of dinners and parties..). You will ened to be flexible
Also, staffing may or may not meet your requests, which needs you still might be shipped to Siberia to serve a Russian mining firm (less cool than the Indian or Japanese trip in my view).

Lots of meetings :
- With the team to review the status of the project, plan, or do problem-solving sessions
- With the partner who wants to be reassured that all is well, and needs to provide input on hot topics
- With the client because we work closely with client team members
Hard thing is to take time for yourself to step back and think through every aspect of the project!

The most conventional job to get: school or direct application. However, most project managers entered consulting firms after school or MBA as Business Analyst or Associate. Entering directly as Manager is harder.
